In general, the job outlook for the human services sector is good. Employment for social and human service assistants is expected to be among the fastest growing occupations in the country.

In addition, employment for psychologists is expected to grow faster than average because of the increased demand for counseling in schools, hospitals, mental health centers, and an increase in companies offering employee assistance programs. Demand will be highest for psychologists with doctorate degrees.

Jobs for hairstylists and other cosmetologists are expected to increase at an average rate.
